Your exercise program could benefit from the use of
treadmills. Using a treadmill provides a wonderful
cardiovascular workout for your heart, your lungs, and your
circulation. There low impact on your joints, which makes it
easier and less painful to workout.

Pregnant women will get an excellent workout. Its low
impact and cardiovascular nature it builds endurance
which will no doubt help during labor. The lower end
models are not expensive and treadmills are easy to use.
Using a treadmill could help you lose weight and even
body fat.

That they don’t take up a lot of space is a non-physical
benefit. There are some that could take up a whole room
almost but if space is the issue, than you can find manual
treadmills that fold and are powered by your movement
only. Talk to professionals and do your research to find out
which one might be appropriate for you.

Comparing different models is best. Do you know what
features you’re looking for on a treadmill? You should look
at certain things when you are comparing various models.
All you really want to do is workout so this can all be
overwhelming.

The size of your machine can be affected by the type of
the motor. The most important things to look at are the
belt trackers. This is the type of movement of the belt and
the placement of the running belt as you work out. You
don’t want a belt that’s jerky you want it to move as
smoothly as possible over the rollers.

Have you seen the check out belts that move and then
jump and move again etc.? There can be more impact
than is necessary on your joints and injury can result if the
movement on your treadmill is like that. Something else to
look at is the length and the width of the belt.

A belt that is too short can cause you to run-off the end
of the belt. A narrow belt might not necessarily support
your stance. If possible try out the machine you want or
one that is very much like it. The type and percentage of
the incline will affect your joints and your workout.

As you progress, on most treadmills you can adjust the
incline to be as if you were climbing a steep hill. How fast
the belt moves should also be adjustable also. Do you
know what the minimum speed and maximum speed is?
This knowledge will help you plan your workout routine and
make it more effective.

Your treadmill console should a heart rate monitor as one
of its main features. If you know your resting heart rate and
your target heart rate which is the highest number you
can reach for maximum benefits from your workout, your
workout will be more beneficial. Your speed, your time and
your distance should also be displayed on the console.

Before you attempt to use your treadmill it is of the utmost
importance that you learn to properly use your treadmill.
The display on the control panel should be clear and easy
to read. Is the software program necessary to be able to
use the control panel?

A noisy treadmill is something you don’t want. There will
obviously be some noise but you don’t want it to be
overwhelming. What is the acceptable level of noise for
you? Is the belt thick enough? If a belt is too thin it could
wear out too soon, so you would want an appropriately
thick belt so it will last.

Stretching can occur with some belts. Checking to see
that your belt isn’t cracked anywhere or stretched, Make
sure the monitor is functioning properly. Consider the
weight of the machine. A few of the delivery companies
will bring your machine to your door but it’s up to you to
get it in the house and set it up.

The look of the machine is important because if it doesn’t
appeal to you, you will be less apt to use it. How easy will it
be to store it when you aren’t using it? Before you bring it
home, consider the probability that it will stay in the same
place when it’s not in use, then you need to decide if this is
ok with you.

Don’t put your treadmill near walls to prevent injury. You
should put it approximately eight feet away from walls,
ledges or windows. You should put the wires and the
power supply out of walking areas or it should be taped
down to prevent someone from tripping while getting off
the treadmill. There are a few tips about how to use your
new treadmill.

Before getting on the belt, straddle it and make sure it is
set at the proper speed. Your feet will follow your eyes so
keep them straight ahead. Staying in the center of the
belt will help prevent slips and falls.

If your looking for tips and advice on treadmills or fitness equipment in general, Martin Smith had a resource of information available. From Treadmills to Home Fitness Equipment you’ll find something.

Ever wish you could take harsh words back? Do you wonder how you could have prevented an impending conflict? How could an argument turn out to be a hidden treasure?

We cannot always use the following principles, we are only human, but you will see they work. You will also notice that you can learn from arguments and even diffuse them into mild disagreements.

Firstly, let’s look at the structure of an argument. An argument is a difference of opinion, and nothing more. It is actually healthy to listen to outside opinions and learn from them. Personally, I get tired of hearing my own thoughts and want to hear fresh ideas. Sometimes you can put a “new spin” on a fresh idea and come up with a compromise.

Successful marriages, businesses, and governments are all built on an exchange of new ideas. If someone takes the time to display a difference of opinion, they actually care for you to some degree. For example: If you did not care, why would you bother to open a line of communication? When you do not care for someone, you look at communication, with him or her, as a waste of time.

Some of us look at conversation with a ‘win or lose” frame of mind. If we lose, we must “save face,” and if we win we must savor every minute of victory. This is a big mistake to put your ego in the “driver’s seat.” The ego will never be guided by wisdom, it is too busy protecting, posturing, and thinking about the next victory. Think about your words and how powerful they are to those who care about you.

So, what does this have to do with Yoga? It specifically has to do with Karma Yoga, the path of selfless action and is based upon the universal principles of many religions. Written teachings on this subject can be found within the Bhagavad Gita.

Living for the ego will contribute to your self- destruction. Living for more victories and material, will always leave us feeling a want for more. Look at the incredibly wealthy: Are they happy or wanting for more? Many of them seem very thirsty for true love and heart felt gratification.

However, helping your family friends and associates will leave you feeling gratified, right now. A Karma Yoga practitioner lives for the higher self and the Supreme Being. Sound familiar? It should, since it is a universal principle which we have all been taught.

We cannot always practice understanding, loving kindness, and forgiveness, but we should try each and every moment of our lives.

Here is an oxymoron for you: Some of the best Yoga teachers are great listeners. This is a general guideline for Yoga students who aspire to teach some day. Listening skills, in Yoga, start when you take your first class, as you learn by hearing, watching, and doing.

The Yoga student who learns predominantly by listening will be able to verbally communicate the finer techniques to others in the future. This is not to say that other methods of learning have less value, but a skilled Yoga teacher must be a communicator and be able to reach into each individual student’s mind.

Therefore, not all Yoga students can learn from you in the same way. Some will learn by listening carefully to your cues, others will gain more from an assist, and some will be able to copy just by watching. As a Yoga instructor, you still have to be a good listener when it comes to all of your students’ questions.

Most Yoga teachers do a good job with handling student questions. However, here is something to think about: Do you try to clarify why a question is being asked? Consider that your student may not be clear in his or her communication skills and you need to “get to the heart of the matter.”

The motivation behind a question is more important than the question itself. You don’t want to waste your time giving unrelated information before, after, or during a Yoga class. So, get a clarification about what you are being asked, and learn why your Yoga student is truly asking you this question. This will benefit the both of you and avoid wasting your student’s time, as well.

If a student asks you a simple question, with a “yes” or “no” answer, you can still find out the motivational source by saying, “Yes, but why do you ask?” This technique is really that simple, and you may find the question is much deeper than you originally perceived.

Another mistake some Yoga teachers make is handling a question defensively. Your student thinks enough of you to ask for your opinion and is interested in your answer. If he or she had no respect for you, your opinion would not be important. Now, whether you perceive an objection or not, you should ask for a clarification before answering.

There is a positive side to all of the questions your Yoga students ask, but you must clearly see the motive behind the question in order to give the best answer. The bottom line is: Even though you are now at the front of the Yoga class, your listening skills must be better than your best listeners in your class.

Just Say “No” - And Lose Weight

From the time you were a child, you might have been a people pleaser. You tried to ace your schoolwork in order to win your parents’ approval…you practiced soccer for hours on end to win a vote of support from your coach…or you diligently practiced your piano chords in order to earn the gratitude of your music teacher. There’s nothing wrong with aiming to please. It can make you a respected leader, a valued friend, a comforting mentor. However, it should be recognized that some food addictions begin with an inability to say “no.”

It might have begun with a Thanksgiving during your childhood when your mother asked if you wanted a second helping of mashed potatoes. Or a teacher at your elementary school might have given you a gold star if you cleaned your plate. You were probably taught that it is wrong to waste food and that a hearty appetite was a good thing. The problem is, such cues from your environment might have caused you to learn the wrong lessons when it came to food consumption.

In our society, many people have difficulty saying “no.” They want to be part of the crowd and they don’t want to stand out for non-participation. They will do all they can to blend in and that leads them to say “yes” more times than they’d like to. In fact, the epidemic of alcohol and drug abuse may be due in part to the refusal of many people to say “no.”

Admitting that you have a problem overcommitting yourself is the first step to progress. It shows that you have a great deal of insight into your own problems with food and you want to change your bad habits and replace them with admirable ones. But this can be difficult, given the fact that so many families have a number of rituals involving food. Also, unlike cigarettes or marijuana, food is not considered inherently bad–nor should it be. However, you need to learn how to use food effectively.

Part of your training begins with learning the power of “no” or “no thank you.” You need to learn to assert yourself, to recognize that you do not have to go along in order to get along. You realize that you are doing yourself no favors by accepting extra helpings of pasta–in fact, you could be doing your body a great deal of harm. The key now is to do something about it.

What’s the best way to undergo assertiveness training? One method you can use is role-playing. Practice saying “no” to extra servings with the help of a friend playing the role of adversary. In this “pretend” situation, you may feel more comfortable saying “no.” You will also learn that saying “no” isn’t the end of the world; that you will not automatically lose friends by taking a “negative” stance.

Another trick you might use is making sure that you do not slouch while sitting at the table for your meals. Slouching indicates defeat–a belief that a situation is hopeless. With your head held high you will gain the confidence you need to say “no”–and to mean it.

Yet another effective strategy is to keep a journal recording your thoughts after you’ve said “no”–either to more food or to a commitment you just can’t handle at this time. Putting your feelings in writing can be quite cathartic. It can also help you with problem-solving, enabling you to figure out ways that you can say “no” without hurting another person’s feelings.

Something else you will need to learn is that it is not necessary for you to fulfill another person’s expectations. In other words, whether your Aunt Mary thinks you’re eating enough really doesn’t matter. If you recognize that you are overweight, Aunt Mary’s opinion shouldn’t be taken into account. You must do what you think is best in order to take control of your eating. Assertiveness will not happen immediately. But, with practice, you can learn to say “no” like a pro. And you–and your waistline–will be better off as a result of what you’ve learned.

The Technology Behind Elliptical Cross Trainers Creates
Unique Advantages and Benefits

The word elliptical means shaped like an oval.
In the world of fitness and exercise, elliptical technology is a
relatively new, innovative equipment design that draws on a smooth, elliptical
movement to provide a low impact form of weight bearing exercise that is fun and
easy to learn.

Elliptical cross trainers have footpads that allow you to
stand up while you exercise. They
have handgrips for you to hold onto and help maintain balance.
Some even have handles to use in working your upper body.
Because you are standing, the exercise is similar to walking or running.
But the arm bars and elliptical motion create similarities with biking or
skiing. The main difference with
elliptical exercise machines is that although you are standing and bearing
weight, which is important to building bone density, your feet never leave the
footpads. So unlike treadmills or
jogging, there is little impact on your joints and muscles. This
provides a low impact, total body workout.

Elliptical Technology

The advantages of this type of smooth, non-jarring motion
come from the elliptical design of the exercise equipment.
Elliptical technology has come to be known as a combination of mechanisms
and design features, unique to elliptical cross trainers, which create a motion
similar to the natural path the feet, legs and hips follow during actual motor
activities such as walking or running.

There are several different types of elliptical equipment
available, and the list of choices seems to grow each day.
However, most elliptical fitness machines have a crank arm that is
attached to a stable bar at one end and an axis at the other.
The axis end revolves as the bar moves and the other end moves in a flat,
nearly liniar back and forth motion. This
causes an elliptical path for the overall movement of the machine.
Most elliptical exercise machines built for home use provide resistance
through a band around the flywheel. Some
high end and commercial elliptical cross trainers use magnetic resistance.

Like a bicycle, this elliptical motion is smooth and continuous.
With a stair stepper or other similar equipment, there is a pattern of
motion and reverse motion, an up and down or back and forth, to which your feet
and legs must continually adapt. At
the point where the forward motion ends and the reverse motion begins, there is
an impact from the force of the machine, which is still in motion.
Your joints, bones, and muscles have to stop the motion and reverse it
each time.

With an elliptical trainer, there is no halting of motion
and reversal of direction. Your
legs keep moving in the same manner continually, even though there is an overall
range of motion. Many elliptical
cross trainers allow you to reverse the direction of motion by changing a
setting. Thus you are able to work
the opposing muscles, while still maintaining the smooth, non-jarring motion.

Benefits and Advantages

Studies have shown that weight bearing exercises are
essential for maintaining and improving bone density.
Yet many weight bearing workouts create high impact stress on joints and
muscles. This can cause health
problems, especially for people with injuries or arthritis.
Additionally, many of the different types of exercise equipment available
only work one or two areas of the body, which is a drawback for people who want
an overall workout.

Under most circumstances, the ideal piece of fitness
equipment will be provide weight bearing exercise, while limiting impact and
providing for a total body workout. Optimizing
cardiovascular benefits is also important.
Many styles of exercise equipment address one or two of these concerns,
but few combine all the advantages in an overall fitness package such as that
provided by elliptical cross trainers.

For example, a stationary bike provides relatively smooth,
non-jarring motion, but since you are sitting, you don’t get the weight
bearing advantages. A treadmill
fulfills the weight bearing aspect, but at the expense of stress to your joints
each time your foot hits the running surface.
Swimming is a great form of exercise that tends to work a majority of the
body’s muscle groups, however, it is not considered a weight bearing activity.
When considering the overall needs of an exercise program, few types of
fitness equipment meet the overall needs quite as well as elliptical cross
trainers.

The advantages and benefits of an elliptical trainer as
compared to other fitness equipment are:

  • Weight
bearing form of exercise that helps maintain bone density
  • Continuous
elliptical motion creates a low impact workout
  • The
motion is similar to walking and is thus easy to learn and sustain
  • Handles
encourage users to work upper body muscles providing a total body workout
  • Offers
one of the best forms of cardiovascular training - onboard computers help
    plan and monitor cardio workouts.
  • Equipment
is relatively simple, so there are fewer parts to replace or mechanical
    things that can go wrong.

Beware Of Imitators

Unfortunately, as with many innovative, beneficial, and
popular ideas, elliptical technology has become somewhat corrupted by those who
want to cash in on the appeal but who lack a commitment to or understanding of
the true basis for the design. Some
elliptical equipment does not offer the natural, simulated movement of true
elliptical cross trainers. Others
use inferior designs and materials, resulting in a jerky or jarring motion that
negates the value of the equipment.

When purchasing an elliptical exercise machine, be sure
that it provides a stable frame or platform, adequately sized foot platforms,
and most importantly, a smooth, continuous motion.
Try out the machine. Does
the movement required feel natural and comfortable? Also check to see if the machine has adjustments for speed,
incline and direction.

Elliptical technology, in its true form, is one of the best
innovations to hit the fitness industry in the past decade.
It truly does address some of the common exercise and health concerns
while providing for a relatively easy, often enjoyable form of exercise.
Unlike some of the gadgets and gimmicks that have come along over the
years, elliptical cross trainers have the ability to help users get fit, lose
weight, and improve overall health.

Home fitness equipment is a great investment. Exercising in the privacy of your home offers both easy access and stability to your daily work out. Unfortunately, most newbie exercises make big mistakes when purchasing their first piece of fitness equipment. The first mistake fitness equipment buyers make is to purchase a machine with too many features.

First of all more features means more money. In the case of fitness equipment more money does not mean better quality. Many of the electronic features fitness equipments offers are never used or used very rarely. This is because most people can not figure out how to accurately use the computer and give up. The basic fitness equipment attributes are all that you need. Just like buying a car or a piece of furniture check for building quality. Ask yourself is the equipment well put together, sturdy, durable, and stable. Good construction combined with a quiet machine are the only real qualities you need to look for in a treadmill. The same is true for all fitness equipment.

Make sure you try out the equipment before buying it. The first place to start is a gym, buy a month membership and go in and see what you like and hate. Once you find a piece of fitness equipment you are interested in then go out to several stores and try their machines. Make sure you wear your exercise clothes and exercise shoes. Most fitness machines look great just sitting them, turn it on and use for a good twenty minutes. Weight machines should be used for at least 20 repetitions. Do not be afraid to try something out of your price range. Have fun when you go out looking, see what the high end equipment offers and what features you can do without and then purchase your fitness equipment accordingly.

If you are beginner in the exercise world, do not buy something complicated or hard to use or setup. You will not use, and you have wasted your money. Many of the high end fitness equipment require the coordination of upper and lower bodies which can be quite overwhelming for people who are less experienced with exercise routines. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Do not be afraid to ask for an information sheet and inquire about all costs. Look for discounts and sales. Many fitness equipment sellers will offer to put together your new fitness equipment and deliver it for you no extra cost or a small fee - let them! For an extra hundred you will not have the headache of assembly and you will make sure the piece of equipment is put together correctly.

The chemicals in cigarette smoke (around 4000 of them) get into the bloodstream of smokers and may induce the damage to the eye.

The chemicals in tobacco smoke can cause inflammation of the conjunctiva (the thin membrane covering the eye), resulting in bloodshot, irritated eyes.

In a study of nearly 21,000 U.S. male physicians, spanning an average of 13.6 years, researchers found a direct link between smoking and the development of cataracts. The study, known as Physicians Health Study I, evaluated physicians between the ages of 40 and 84 who had no prior history of cataracts before 1982. Participants were asked to complete questionnaires that included information such as: number of cigarettes smoked daily, age when they started smoking, and their age if they stopped smoking. Each participant received annual eye exams and were required to report the results to the study investigators. The participants’ ophthalmologists and optometrists confirmed the results.

Smoking has also been linked to eye diseases such as age-related macular degeneration. The causes of macular degeneration are not completely understood, but smoking is believed to be the main preventable risk factor. Evidence indicates that more than a quarter of all cases of AMD are linked to current or past exposure to smoking.

Study results appear mixed about a direct association between smoking and diabetic retinopathy, but most experts agree that smoking should be avoided to help help stop progression of the disease.

Smoking causes shrinkage or constriction of blood vessels, shown to be directly linked to rising inner eye pressure (intraocular pressure) that can lead to glaucoma and accompanying optic nerve damage.

Optic neuritis : A landmark study found a strong association between factors such as poor nutrition and smoking linked to a 1992-1993 epidemic of optic nerve damage among Cuban citizens. Although smoking is associated with several eye diseases, including nuclear cataract and thyroid eye disease, the most common cause of smoking related blindness is age related macular degeneration, which results in severe irreversible loss of central vision.

How does smoking damage the eyes?

When you inhale cigarette smoke thousands of chemicals get into your bloodstream and can travel throughout your body. These chemicals cause damage to the macula (the most sensitive part of the retina, at the back of your eye). Tiny blood vessels can burst through the macula, leading to irreversible damage, or alternatively, the cells of the macula slowly die. Both ultimately lead to loss of vision.

Can this damage be reversed?

No. Laser treatment can sometimes kill the new blood vessels before they hit the macula. However, most people are not able to be helped this way because the blood vessel has already involved the very centre of the macula, and even after treatment, the condition recurs in half the cases and in almost all those who continue to smoke. A new treatment, photodynamic therapy (PDT) may be able to help some to reduce the severity of vision loss, but the majority of people with macular degeneration will still not be able to be treated.

If I quit smoking will my eyes recover?

Your risk of macular degeneration will be reduced if you quit smoking, however existing damage to the eyes cannot be repaired, particularly once vision is affected.

Now you can reduce the pain and inconvenience of testing. Unlike conventional lancing systems, the ACCU-CHEK Multiclix lancet device is the only 1 with a six-lancet drum. That means you can have the least amount of painful testing with less hassle and improved safety.

There are 11 depth settings so you can choose your comfort level for testing your blood sugar. There is a no side-to-side motion so there is less skin tearing, over 90% of users ranked it least painful.*

Self-Contained Lancet with Six-lancet Drums.

Now you don’t even need to see or handle the lancets. Just put the six-lancet drum in and you are ready to go.

Personal comfort.

With the 11 dept settings on the Comfort Dial, you are able to adjust the lancet depth to match your skin type and obtain just enough blood for accurate testing.

Precise Lancet Movement.

The precise linear sliding motion decreases the lancet’s side-to-side movement so there is no tearing of your skin, providing greater comfort.

Accurate Manufactured Lancets.

Careful manufacturing make sure that your lancets have not been bent or contain broken tips that can result in even more painful testing.

This is a breakthrough in testing your blood sugar using lancets. There is always a chance of pricking yourself when removing the lancet after testing your blood sugar. There is also a chance of pricking yourself when removing the little piece attached to the lancet before testing.

Now just place the lancet drum in your device and you are ready to test your blood sugar.

Removing the lancet drum is also safe. Now you don’t have to worry about pricking your finger.

Finally glucose meter testing companies are looking out for the safety of the patient, especially Senior Citizens who vision has decreased due to the complications of Diabetes.

Accu-check is now on the top of my list for safety, convenience and simplicity of using their glucometers, especially the Accu-check Compact, and now their new six-drum lancet device.

Permanent hair removal has been available in some form for 125 years; the first electrolysis machine was invented in the late 1800s by an ophthalmologist who used the device to treat ingrown eyelashes (trichiasis). Since then, numerous electrolysis machines have been patented, but no new hair removal technology appeared until lasers entered the consumer market in the 1960s.

While electrolysis is undeniably effective, it can only target one hair at a time. The holy grail of permanent hair removal has always been the bulk treatment of many hair follicles at once. This reduces the time needed to treat an area of skin by a factor of several hundred.

The first lasers used in dermatology in the mid to late 1960s emitted a continuous wave, an impractical feature for hair removal since the beam also damaged adjacent tissue. The development of the Q-switch, similar to a camera shutter, allowed the beam to be emitted in timed pulses.

In the late 60s, early laser hair removal devices targetted individual follicles through a wire-thin fiberoptic probe, later modified into a penlight-type device. These devices were difficult to use, just as electrolysis probes are, and in addition were ineffective at destroying the hair follicle. The FDA forced the removal of these devices from the marketplace due to false advertising.

In a repeat of history, the late 70’s saw the introduction of a laser device to treat ingrown eyelashes. This led to the introduction of argon laser equipment to treat unwanted hair elsewhere on the body, but this device also proved to be useless for body hair.

Other dermatologists noticed that lasers used to treat tatoos and vascular lesions produced hair loss in the adjacent tissue, which led to more experiments.

1995 the first FDA-approved laser hair removal device was introduced, the SoftLight by ThermoLase. However, FDA approval does not mean that a device is effective; it just means that according to the FDA’s inspectors, it is not acutely dangerous and makes no medicinal claims that have not been substantiated by research.

The SoftLight used a carbon-based lotion which was rubbed into the skin immediately following hair removal by waxing. Theoretically, the lotion would penetrate into the open hair follicle, and then the laser would be applied to heat the accumulated carbon and destroy the follicle. However, this device proved less effective than light devices that targeted the hair follicle pigments naturally present in skin.

The company which produced SoftLight initially made an excellent profit by offering what they claimed was permanent hair removal through a chain of proprietary clinics called Spa Thira. However, by 1997, a medical study which followed treated patients found full hair regrowth, and in 1998 and 1999 successful lawsuits against the company forced it to cease manufacturing the devices.

In 1997, the FDA approved several more devices which target the melanin in the hair follicle. These devices have better results than the earlier versions; however, some are still so new it is difficult to tell if the hair removal is permanent. Of the 9 laser or light-based systems currently being used, 2 of these use non-laser light. The non-laser technologies use columnated light of many wavelengths which the system operator filters to select the wavelength most likely to be absorbed by the melanin in the patient’s follicles.

Some consumers claim they have experienced long-lasting hair removal with the newer lasers. The treatments are safe if performed properly, and are useful for large areas such as the back or legs, where electrolysis would be a tedious, painstaking process. Even when hair is not completely removed, it grows back finer and lighter. Light-skinned patients with dark hair have the best results. The treatments are said to be more comfortable than electrolysis, and patients can usually tolerate them without analgesics.

3-4 year results are available for some systems such as pulsed light, but most of the newer machines have not been around long enough for long-term data to be available. Also, light-based devices do not work well on blondes or redheads, or people with dark skin. Untrained technicians can cause burns, lesions, skin discolorations and in some cases scars.

It is important to remember that any permanent hair removal treatment must be repeated several times, over a period of at least 1-2 years. At any given time, most hair follicles are in the dormant stage, not producing any hairs, and if there is no dark hair in a follicle, laser/light systems will not have any effect. However, after a year or two, most follicles will have restarted their growth cycle.

What is better than a diet that is convenient?

Years and years of research have been dedicated to the subject of weight loss. Some of the obvious findings are that routine exercise and a healthy, well balanced diet in moderation can lead to weight loss. However, many people don’t have time to obsess about having a healthy diet or consistently workout so they are also looking for a more convenient method to lose weight. Convenience often means finding the quickest method that they can in order to experience weight loss, whether they have reservations about its effectiveness or not. This is where some of the years of research have spawned worthless products such as machines that are designed to give you the perfect stomach or pills that claim to decrease your waste size overnight. So if you have tried these products in the past, consider something more natural and try flax seed oil weight loss.

Flax seed oil does your body good

We want to familiarize you with flax seed oil. It is extracted from the flax seed grain and has been used for centuries. The strange thing about flax seed oil weight loss is that it occurs because of the presence of two fatty acids within the oil known as Linolenic (Omega 3) and Linoleic (Omega 6). It may be weird to ponder the possibilities of fatty acid helping to promote weight loss but when these two substances combine, they become key in the process of calorie burning. This is because they combine to become prostaglandins, which help with weight loss and also provide other benefits such as moderating cholesterol, body temperature, the immune system, brain functions, and the cardiovascular system.

Get enough Omega 3 and feel the difference

The problem with most diets is that they don’t get enough Omega 3 in their diet along with the Omega 6 to produce a lot of prostaglandins. The ratio should be one Omega 3 for every two Omega 6, but instead is usually one for every twenty in typical diets. Make sure that you are getting enough Omega 3, add flax seed oil to your diet and notice the change in your body and brain.
